I have worked for HISD for 6 years and this is my first year here at Schulze and the last five years has been at Jewel Wietzel Center.  I am extremely excited for this new school year and all the wonderful experiences yet to come.

In JWC I taught students from PreK 4 to 12 graders with multiple disabilities, therefore I bring to Schulze my experience with dealing and handling situations that require medical, educational, developmental, functional, and behavioral skills.

I am able to lead and manage paraprofessionals, conduct and organize events and school functions, under the leadership of the campus administrator.

I live and was raised in San Antonio and have been married for 1 year, have three step-children, and a dog named Steveo.  I am a cat lover and use to own a cat named, BABY but unfortunately he passed away :0(.  I wanted to be a Neonatologist, but my career and passion took me to becoming a special education teacher.

I come from a large family, as the second oldest of 11 children being raised in a loving, nurturing, and safe home by my parents.  My parents raised all 11 children with a strong faith foundation and set high but realistic expectations, which I have 1 older sister (age 30), 1 younger sister (age 7), and 8 younger brothers (ages 27, 25, 22, 21, 13, 12, 10, 8).
